Superman and a tiny bead

The day started perfectly wonderful.
We had been outside since 8 am gardening and playing.
Perfect cool summer weather.

Out of a sudden Sammy cried and said one of these beads is in his nose.
These beads were not even ours... I was in the backyard gardening around the patio...
The kids were playing with the neighbor's kids... Big brother were playing with these beads...

At first, I was not panic...
Asked him to go inside, get a flash light and look at his nostril.
I could NOT see the bead... Asked Sammy to sneeze... and still did NOT see the bead.
All these time he was crying and said it was still in his nose...

So I went into "panic" mode and decided to go to urgent care...

Big brother had his camera with him because I asked him to take a picture of the bead to show the doctor.

After driving 15-20 min, we arrived only to find out that our kiddos hospital urgent care is not open until 3 pm... They told us to go to our pediatrician... Drove back 15-20 min.... To end up at our pediatrician's office which is less than 5 min away from our house!

So much for "urgent care"!!!

Yes, he was wearing that superman outfit... they were playing superhero... so all these people at the front desk asked," so what's up with superman?" "well, he got bead stuck in his nose"

Then my day went "argh could be better" drove to campus to print out a bunch of stuff only to find out that the printer is out of ink (FREE printing)... so went to work without being able to accomplish anything...

Then I came home. I realized I forgot to pick up dinner that I ordered!....

The best part of the day was when one of my buddies dropped by with a box of cupcakes from one of the well know cupcakes bakery here!  Chatted and just laughed at the event.  She called when I was about to get in the car... so she knew what had happened.

I am grateful that GOD loves me so much that HE blesses me with so many wonderful friends...
One that knows what I need to keep my sanity from time to time...

In a day like today that means " a super rich creamy double chocolate chip buttercream cupcake!"
You don't even want to know the calories and how long you have to run to burn it off :-)

Oh.... What a wonderful friend!!
